The Small Business and Entrepreneurship team at SCEC provides 1:1 advising at no-cost to Washington County residents. Our team includes advisors who specialize in outdoor recreation, tourism, fisheries and aquaculture, and working with the federal government. The team also provides support to students, employers, and recovery-friendly workplaces. We offer loans and grants to qualifying businesses and entrepreneurs and advise on technology solutions for your business.

The MaineStreet Business Building offers coworking, private offices & meeting spaces, business coaching & technical assistance, access to highspeed broadband, space to collaborate & network, and so much more!
COMPREHENSIVE LEARNING & SUPPORT
We offer startup incubator & accelerator courses, technical workshops, and small business forums and collaborate with more than 50 non-profit and for-profit partners building better business in Washington County. Our programs are at MaineStreet Business Building, online, and in-person across the region.
